Thürachstraße 4, 79189 Bad Krozingen
In 1911 warm thermal water began to spring from a bore hole which had actually been drilled in the hope of finding of oil. The water has one of the highest concentrations of carbon dioxide in Europe. Even before the first bath house was built here in 1914, an open air thermal bath had been opened in Krozingen. It consisted of a modest wooden cask with a diameter of 5 metres.
Today visitors to Krozingen, which since 1933 has been allowed to add the predicate Bad to its name to indicate that it is a spa town, can, by contrast bathe in the Vita Classica thermal baths. The modern design of the building and the ancient atmosphere indulging the senses make it feel more like a palace! In addition to the spacious spa with two outdoor and six indoor pools, the Vita Classica thermal baths are also a sauna paradise with nine sauna cabins and a feel-good house with attractive and high-quality wellness applications!
