Museum tour

The municipal museum with the Holy Spirit Hospital provides vivid background knowledge and extensive insights into the city's history.

In addition to valuable sacred and secular art, visitors can marvel at autographs and editions of works by local dialect poets, an archaeological collection, as well as peasant tools and old workshop equipment of earlier craftsmen.

In the former hospital chapel, Gothic and Mannerist wall paintings as well as excellent examples of ecclesiastical sculpture can be seen.
